NWTF Banquet

This past weekend was the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) annual banquet. They have a live auction, silent auction, and a bunch of raffles. This year, Brandon emailed the newspaper to have them post the event in this section that is run every Thursday. We think that is why about 30-40 people bought tickets at the door! They were not expecting that many people to show up. But I am glad they did. Caleb and Dustin (2 of the boys) that the NWTF took hunting in Jan were there and honored by being given NWTF committee member shirts and framed group pics everyone involved in the hunt in Jan. I totally spaced when they were at the front though and didn't get any pictures of them. They also gave Brandon's cousin a scholarship, and I did get a picture of that!

Brandon and I did not walk away empty handed. I got a two things on the silent auction that I wanted. One was a cracked glass cannister set for the kitchen and the other was an antler/hurricane glass candle holder. Brandon won a pop-up deer blind and Carter won a board game type thing. It was a good time, but we didn't leave until about 10:30 so Carter was very tired! Anyway - here are some pics!!
