First Haircut

We took Carter to get his first haircut on Saturday. It was getting so long in the back that it would have looked like a mullet if it was straight instead of curly. I'm just sad my little baby doesn't have his curls any more. :( And he looks more and more like a little boy instead of a baby- especially with the hair cut.
(By the way, Anna - I too am totally unhappy too with the way these pictures are being posted)!

Here is a before picture.

He did really good at the hair cut place. We took him to Kid's Hair Safari salon. It is totally kid oriented. They have tons of toys in the lobby and Carter found these baton things that are clear with liquid in them that he loved. They were only a dollar, so I bought him one. The haircut chair was a big wheel, so he liked pushing all the buttons and stuff. He was a little unsure about the whole thing at first, so they turned on a bubble machine and he liked that. They also gave us a certificate and of course, his first pieces of hair that were cut.

I'm very glad you realized mullets are no good, contrary to waht certain "friends" may tell you (>cough<>cough<>KATIE<>Cough!<)

PS. when Tyler lived in mississippi in 1st grade he asked his dad if he could have a rat tail. THANKfully his father said no. But Tyler was pissed (as much as a 1st grader can be, but he got over it)
